I see you are correct in this instance. Thank you for substantiating the authenticity of this word. It is obviously a very recent addition to the English language given it's technological context and is defined in Webster's as:

3 : to send an angry, hostile, or abusive electronic message to or about
- flam•er noun

I've not encountered this term before but it is quite clear that you and Libyan have. I wonder why?!!
