Thank you for your generous comments, Danish/American. As regards the use of the word "condemned" I'd be surprised to see even that applied to the Danish imams. It took at least a dozen attempts to receive at least a mild acknowledgement that they had any responsibility for the controversy. Mild disapproval is probably the strongest sentiment that I've seen expressed in that regard! Condemnation would be a major step forward!

I personally don't subscribe to any faith so it's quite bewildering that the world is 'going to Hell in a hand basket' because of a foreign region's religious dogma. I'm still waiting for just one of these jokers to explain what Christianity has to do with any of this! The fact that Denmark is not run by the Christian equivalent of a Mad Mullah seems incomprehensible to them!
