The elephant in the room

Reader comment on item: Something Rotten in Denmark?
in response to reader comment: Danish/American - maybe I can try to answer one of your questions...

The article doesn't address the imams who are responsible for fabricating three of the most disturbing of these cartoons. It does call on Denmark's government and people to stop what they're doing so that they don't become isolated. (sounds a bit like a veiled threat) Then it appeals to Muslims to not respond to acts of aggression with acts not sanctioned by Islam. Then it appeals to the U.N. to find any insults to religious prophets a criminal act.

To me that sounds pretty prideful to not address a major inciter of those massive riots (the imams), and when it addresses the Muslims, to act like they are the ones who are having acts of aggression put upon them. We all know that it's just the opposite. It seems to point its finger at everyone except the Muslim imams and the Muslim rioters. That's a shame, because if you don't address ALL aspects of the problem, your cause doesn't seem very credible.
