Dear Nuray:

I have no doubt that you mean well and want peace. But please dont convince us that islam is a "religion of peace". Convince the wahabbis, Abu Musab Zarqawis, Bin Ladins, Lashkar e Tayyabas, Lashkar e Jhangvis, Islamic Jihadis, Alqueda's , and the feary mullas who quote quran that it is muslim's duty to spread islam through jihad forcing islam on us by hook or by crook.

Omar Ahmed of CAIR has said that CAIR wants islam to be the religion of this country and sharia to be it's law. It scares us.Nuray, would you like to live in Afghanistan of Taliban which was almost a perfect Sharia country? If they want islam and sharia in the country then why do they run away from countries of islam and sharia and come here .

Nuray you are taking a wrong approach if you really want to work for peace. I feel a lot better when reading posts of ex-muslims than real muslims. Real muslims seem to lie using taqiyya when living in the west and talk love and peace, but in their own countries thay talk totally different. A lot more people are reading quran hadith and islamic history now then ever before because of internet. So many non muslims are pasting ayas and hadiths. Quran preaches violence, sunna hadiths and siras confirm it and islamic history is the witness. Your denying all that does not work.

If you are a muslim for peace then do not deny what is in the scriptures or try to pull wool over our eyes that it is out of context, it was for those days only, arabic cannot be translated etc. .It backfires. More and more people dislike muslims for that. You can claim that you are a peaceful muslim and only believe and follow the good and peaceful part of quran and sunna. But for God's sake do not deny violent ayas and hadiths.
