Dear Nuray: Dictating and writing is same, Mohammed was the author of Quran. Allah did not drop it from sky. You said he was illiterate. Yes reading quran shows that he was illiterate, no context nor chronology and continuos repetitions and contradictions. When One reads it with a mind fogged with blind faith and fear of hell , it all looks divine.

He wrote old fables prevalent at that time and things like sun sets in dirty water, moon is a lamp, stars are to shoot jinns and satans. He wrote self serving ayas telling Mohammed what he can do like having sex with captured women, booty is halal, he can marry his daughter in law, he can have sex with first cousins, he can take unlimited wives, the list goes on. He made claims that Jesus was a muslim and preached islam ( was Jesus a haji also? Being a top muslim of the time he must have gone to haj many times with his disciples) . Muslims have no proof of Jesus preaching islam whatsoever except Mohammed's words. What if some new messenger claim that Mohammed was a hindu and preached Geeta and muslims have changed the religion and the book?

Is people accepting some one a proof of a messenger?. Jim Jones was accepted by many in a very short time. You say quran cannot be duplicated. Yes Mozart was a genius , his music cannot be duplicated does that make him a messenger? Omar Khayyams peotry cannot be duplicated, was he an apostle, Einsteins research cannot be duplicated, was he a prophet?
Is number of people accepting a messenger a proof of truth? Then there are over 2 billion christians , one billion hindus , and over 3 billion athiests and other religions. If they are all true then there are many Gods sending their messengers.
