And again, Dr. Pipes;
We who are descendants of an era of former Soviet antipathies (this observer less so than the esteemed Dr. Pipes and his family) are now become witnesses of delayed aggressive actions of rage long ago contemplated, that, but for certain inhibitions and exceptions, were not yet released upon an unsuspecting global community for reasons that humanity was never able to contemplate either for the lack of the rationale that brings contraindicative ambitions into combat situations, where one side lacks the will of evil desiring to destroy that which it cannot have except to destroy the good. Dr. Pipes witnessed that in 1983. He was not alone; but his witness becomes the evidence by which what is seen now was always there. That the empire under which such contemplations were conducted collapsed, the desire did not.
It would appear, Dr. Pipes, your presence, and that of your parents as witnessed then, holds severe prescient arguments that the world allowed this phenomena to continue, not only unabated, but with compliance in many political circles globally, humanity being held hostage while those forces contended with the only geopolitical presence that countered such rage until it faltered from within; America.
No such resolve remains; or does it?
