in response to reader comment: That US empire

Reader Jeff corecly observes the United States is not an empire; that while many powers that be, especially those that seek to break America for greed, envy and avarice, are engaged in activities that seek to embroil the United States in actions of questionable motives and perverted governance masquerading as democracy, their socialist secularistic mechanisms insiunuated into the bureaucratic institutions that apppear in legislative replacement of legal functions have served to mitigate the true fashion of a free society that desires to replace teh American freedom with ambitions of empire; but the real United States was never an empire: it will cease to exist if it continues on its current path of corruption into what ever judgment that may occur; but it will never be an empire.
That having been said, the impression that America has dreams of empire is symptomatic of agents of progressive socialistic tendencies from internal passions of erudite ideologies that have infiltrated America with intentions of destroying the United States from within. It is derived from external passions of fallen empires (such as those from the Orient) attempting to remake yet another empire to serve and ideology that cannot stand the idea of free men and women seeking lives lived in peace and must disrupt such efforts whenever and wherever such ambitions of empire can wreak havoc for evil's sake. To corrupt the United States on behalf of that effort is currently seen, now; and the failure of the earlier attempt to bring that freedom in Afghanistan, now lost to the ambitions of the Taliban to supplant such freedom is nothing more than a modern rendition that corrupted and captivated all those fallen civilizations in Asia by Muslim hordes.
Now, is that what the anicents sought, to captivate whole societies in order to enslave them to unfulfilled religions? In its inception as a Christian nation, the United States was never ordained as an empire; only when it loses the battle to unrighteous bahavior as is now being fought will it lose its freedom; but it will never rise to an empire; especially if Islam gets its way: right Mr. Banerjee?.
