How to engage with Islam in general.

Dear Dr Pipes, I concur with your opinion that Israel working with Turkey for a gas pipeline to Europe will be a terrible India. Rest of the thoughts in this message are my own.

Islam may be a part time religion. But, it is a full time expansionist political movement. Only sensible engagement with Islam for the free world must be to defend itself against an Islamic armed attack (e.g. As in so called Palestine vs Israel, Pakistan vs India, ISIS vs Yezidis, AL Qaeda vs USA etc). Until we see very very very strong signs of separation between spirituality and politics within Islam, a penny spent with the Islamic forces, is a penny lost. All business should be at an arms length with no hopes of any long term love, friendship, or brotherhood.

Of course, minus the politics, most Muslims are just as good or bad as the rest of us.
