Turkey, Israel and natural gas

Reader comment on item: Middle East Geopolitics

Any comments on Turkey's latest offer to collaborate with Israel on constructing a natural gas pipeline to Europe?

Russian natural gas has been problematic for W. Europe. The problem with working with Turkey is that Erdogan is so wishy-washy (erratic) that I question whether a large investment in a pipeline is a good idea at this time.

Terrible idea. No one should trust Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
