Islamic gobbledygook

in response to reader comment: Why do YOU like to embarrass yourself?

Dear Dr Pipes: your reader Matthew wrote a few words describing what are the true words of God and what are not. I wonder what gives Muslims a right to define what books of others are true word of God and what are not. In whatever Matthew was trying to do, he introduced many different new terms and many different opinions without presenting any logic or reasoning.

To me this all looks like the standard Islamic gobbledygook to somehow assert that Quran is the best without proving so. "If you cannot disprove them at least confuse them" seems to be the motive.

Can we discuss the merits, virtues, and irrelevancies of simpler things like which foot to put forward first while entering bathrooms and leave complex matters alone?
