Why not? al-Tabari is your Allah's editor in-chief. He is the one that gets the credit for deciphering what this opaque revelation, al-Quran, must be really saying. So are you making fun of al-Tabari? You think I should inform the religious authorities that a follower of Mirza Ghulam who died from diarrhea in a bathroom is "dissing" al-Tabari! Yes he was not an Arab and he lived some 2700 miles away from Mecca but he shaped Islam through his Tafsir of a poorly written as well as confused and confusing book called al-Quran
