Reader comment on item: Television in Time of War

I do not see what there is to debate. We are at war with an enemy that does not negotiate and kills innocent people. What need is there to debate the matter? We try to rationalize the motives of an irrational theology that is bent on world domination.

Political correctness will be the downfall of this country. What is needed is clear, decisive action to make the enemy, radical Islam, surrender unconditionally. We have the process reversed from WWII. We should make them surrender first and then help them rebuild their country.Yes, this means destroying those countries and those that support terrorism and terrorists; not trying to pursuade them to live a democratic lifestyle.
