Democracy? Peace?

Reader comment on item: Ariel Sharon's Folly

Why can Arabs live in Israel, but not Jews? What would happen if there would be "disengagement" evacuating all Arabs from Israel? Does it make sense to take away the homes of innocent, good people and give it to terrorists? What message are the terrorists receiving? How much land does Israel have already, a little strip and even that is too much? Do you really think there will be peace by giving back land, by liberating prisoners? Don't we see from previous experience that on the contrary, more were killed because of it... And was there peace before '67? Who started the war then? Will the Arabs ever be happy as long as there are Jews around? There should be no negotiating with terrorists. Why doesn't the U.S. negotiate with Osama? Why is the U.S. using our tax money to support terrorists? Do they really think the Arabs will not use it against us? Their whole attitude does not make sense. It is all just anti-semitic. And the more you give them the more power they will have and use it not only against Israel but the whole world.
