Hi, Tovey

Isaiah 17 talks about Syria; 18 about South Sudan and 19 Egypt. The first two are just wracked with wars nowadays; Egypt is peaceful by comparison, but they have a terrorism problem as well. The prophecy says Egypt and Assyria (Iraq and Syria, essentially) will be at peace with Israel. I guess that won't happen until after the Turkish-Iranian attack on Israel is driven back, seeing that will probably come via Syria. If real chaos breaks out in the area, as it could in near future, I can imagine this all happening.

Boy, it is COLD here! My friend has been without power for over 5 days now. If this global warming keeps up, we'll all freeze to death! Brrrr!

It's hard to find any news nowadays, about world events. All I see everywhere, is speculation about how it's going to be after January 20. I can only say this much: It won't be as it has been these past 8 years; and the Chinese had better be careful, trying to provoke our next President.

South Korea, Japan and Taiwan are all just a screwdriver turn away from becoming nuclear powers. If that's what Xi wants for neighbors, then he can keep on provoking trouble -- but it will come back to haunt him. I don't know what Russia is up to, nor Iran. I won't speculate.
