Seconding Michael S's propsithion

Reader comment on item: What's a Conservative to Do? Vote for Pence
in response to reader comment: Thank God for Donald Trump. Too bad, David Brooks

Dear Dr Pipes, I second Michael S's suggestion to thank God for Trump's election for the following reasons:

1. We now know that the world illegal is not completely null and void.

2. We also know that America matters and as a nation and it is not just a tavern where all travelers have a birth right to stay whenever they want. I personally am a thankful legal immigrant. America first is a sacred call and there is nothing selfish about it.

3. It is good that a candidate that used a muslim American to advance her cause lost. I would love if Mr Khyzr Khan works to advance the cause of democracy around the world, not just in America.

4. Indeed, exporting to America is not every country's birthright. And exporting jobs to foreign lands is not every Silicon Valley firms birth right. Free trade is good but thought less trade is not good.

5. We need to work on our inner city. But the politicians who make a career based on pitting people against police cannot do it. I will rather trust that task to Dr Ben Carson.

6. I have no trust in the UN either. UN human right organizations are run by dictators and theocrats. That is more than enough for me.

So I thank God that Trump was elected.
