Dr Pipes

Trump is popular because he addresses great concerns by many Americans including::

1. The Washington DC elite is corrupted and loves power and enough of the Bush family and the Clintons and now the bad news: If Hillary Clinton is gone in four years then Michelle Obama should be the president No I'm not kidding

The Podesta emails revealed the corruption of the DC elite All of them

2. The corrupt media Just watch the Clinton News Network aka CNN . I really suspect that we might be seeing the end of the media as we have known it and it will be replaced by on-line various web sites from the Left to the Right and even the grey lady aka the New York Times will be gone and will not be missed The reason is as per Milo Yiannopoulos said: "They (The American people) hate you because you lie"

This is why Trump is very popular

Would he win and we would have an American Brexit? I don't know but I suspect that Hillary Clinton has many enemies that would want her to be at least impeached if she is elected

So would this election be like the 1972 election: Nixon v McGovern? With Nixon winning a landslide but two years later he resigned from office in disgrace? Only time would tell
