Reader comment on item: What's a Conservative to Do? Vote for Pence

Hello, Daniel, and a somewhat belated L'shana tovah.

I don't think you have much to worry about Donald Trump "beating the bookmakers". He is opposed by:

1. The Yale-Harvard set, which includes not only you but also all three of the Presidential families that have maintained an oligarchy over this country since 1989, and far more importantly,

2. Goldman Sachs, George Soros and the whole host of the richest men, women and corporations in the world. Along with them comes support from their subservient class,

3. the mainstream media and Hollywood.

Donald Trump is, in a not-too-shabby comparison, America's answer to Brexit. He is the voice of citizens who are fed up with self-enriching bureacracies that are unable to solve the political, economic and social problems of today. I expect Hillary to beat him, by hook or by crook; but it will be a shallow victory for her and no victory whatever for the American people or the people of the world. The result will be a continual Western slide in morality, decency and order; and ultimately (in only a few years) the self-destruction of the current world order.

Whichever candidate wins on Nov. 8, I don't expect him or her to be re-elected to a second term. Both will be older then, than any candidate ever to win a US Presidential election. At the same time, I expect the growing Millennial generation to find a charismatic champion of their own to offer magical solutions to everything. I don't know his name; but I do know the names of his brothers: Antiochus Epiphanes, Nero Caesar, Napoleon Bonaparte and Adolf Hitler.

There is much to do before then.

God bless and keep you and yours,

Michael :-)
