What makes you think that the GOP politicians who acquiesced until now due to fear of their constituency will suddenly become brave enough to impeach him?

You are also assuming that the Democrats would vote to impeach and risk dealing with a respectable leader like Pence for two terms rather than wait a couple years to defeat a lame duck Trump administration.
