Trump has good marks for Israel's SECURITY. A "solution" to the Arab hatred of Jews, though, is beyond anyone's reach.Reader comment on item: The Gods and the Arab-Israeli Conflict Submitted by Michael S, Dec 10, 2016 at 02:03 Hi, Robert It's hard to argue with either you or Daniel; because nobody knows what President Trump will do. One thing about him has become clear: when he gets down to business, he plays his hand close to his chest. Caroline Glick made a good observation: "The one issue that brings together all of the top officials Trump has named so far to his national security team is Iran. General John Kelly, whom Trump appointed Wednesday to serve as his secretary of homeland security warned about Iran's infiltration of the US from Mexico and about Iran's growing presence in Central and South America when he served as commander of the US's Southern Command.Gen. James Mattis, Trump's pick to serve as Defense Secretary and Gen. Michael Flynn who he has tapped to serve as his national security advisor were both fired by outgoing President Barack Obama for their opposition to his nuclear diplomacy with Iran." -- http://carolineglick.com/israels-first-move-with-the-trump-administration/ That's three for three, showing that President-to-be Trump plans to ensure that Iran does not become a threat to Israel; and at the moment, Iran is Israel's most dangerous enemy. That is a good mark, for Trump being concerned about Israel's SECURITY; which I think is the most important issue. I have no confidence in any "two state solution", or any other permanent solution, for that matter, for the fact that the Arabs in Israel hate Jews and want to kill them. Neither Trump nor anyone else can change that situation one iota, nor has anyone before him.
