Saudi Citizenship for Palestiniand

Reader comment on item: The Gods and the Arab-Israeli Conflict

The World should learn to think Out of the Box.

Saudi Arabia announced the other day
that by June 20-18 its women will be granted licenses to drive automobiles.

How about allowing Palestinians to Settle as immigrants in Saudi Arabia.
Palestinians are often educated
and may bring a more modern and progressive version of Islam
to Wahhabi Saudis.

Europe has accepted Syrian Muslim refugees within its Christian realm.
Why can't Saudis do the same for their own fellow Arabs, the Palestinians?
And this would be a good remedy to introduce Muslim pluralism
to the primary Salafi form of Islam
from which the wealthy Saudis suffer these days.

Giving the Palestinians a state
is not a rational solution to the demographic problem of stateless Palestinians,
because there literally is insufficient land
to accommodate all the Palestinians
who currently also reside in refugee camps
outside of the borders of Israel or Palestine.
