Turks? What are they good for? Nothing.

in response to reader comment: What ended the Roman civilization and brought about the dark ages? It was Islam! (Gasp!)

Destruction of Byzantium is perhaps the greatest tragedy that happened to human civilization. Roman empire and later Byzantium that kept the turks/muslims away from, what has become Europe, have contributed the most to the evolvement of civilization. Thanks to the fact that Byzantium managed to last till 14th century (I believe), Europe had a good head start and thus evolved into what we have today in Europe, in fact. Had the turks broken through earlier, who knows what Europe would look like today. God forbid. Just look what happened to advanced civilizations on Balkans, like Serbia due to 500 years of Turkish domination and backward ways.

Serbia for instance was so much advanced that England at that time was a complete wasteland by comparison. Once Turks entered the time stopped and started to count backward.

We as Serbs hate them and will for as long the earth turns. There are many others who do the same. Some things can not be forgotten or forgiven. This is one of them.

Today we have another danger: AMERICANIZATION of the world. We must stop it and De-Americanize not only those countries that have been infested already, but the source itself America. Yes we must de-Americanize america , before it is too late.
