Reader comment on item: ISIS Rampages, the Middle East Shakes

Submitted by Tom Slattery (United States), Jun 14, 2014 at 00:32

In 1989-90, even before Iraq War One, I modernized Mary Shelley's end-of-the-world novel "The Last Man" and relocated her siege of Constantinople to a siege of Baghdad held by religious fanatics in a war between American-backed Jadeed al-Somar (New Sumer) and the unnamed regime of religious fanatics holding Baghdad. You can read my novel for free, now titled "The Last Human" at: http://www.scribd.com/doc/957681/THE-LAST-HUMAN

I only hope that the rest does not come about, too.
