Civil war brewing between sunni, shia Islam?

Reader comment on item: ISIS Rampages, the Middle East Shakes

Submitted by AnneM (United States), Jun 13, 2014 at 08:45

With Iraq in the news these last couple of days because of the emergence of ISIS and with a number of cities that have fallen, could this bring about a possible "civil war" between the sunni and shia Islamic factions?

Thank-you to any responses.

Yes, we are witnessing just such an intra-Muslim war.
