What does Neocon mean?

Reader comment on item: A Neo-Conservative's Caution

Submitted by Timothy Lane (United States), Mar 11, 2005 at 23:55

I find more often than not that "neo-con" is a word which liberals use when talking about conservative Jews. I suppose this is done in an effort not to appear anti-semitic which would also be politically incorrect but for how much longer, I'm not sure.

I can only guess that the reason so many Jews support the Democrat party is because many of them still hold extreme left wing views. It seems almost suicidal that so many of them would do so in light of the fact that the Democrat party is almost violently anti-Israel.

Perhaps there is such a thing as a self hating Jew. Michael Savage says liberalism is a mental disease. Given the irrational support of Jews for the anti-Israel New Left; perhaps he's correct.
