Yes, the formation of Constitutions CAN stabalize this seeming revolution of thought, and indeed might temper the possible Islamist take-overs in these Nations. HOWEVER, if hard-core Islamists become the ones WRITING these documents by dominating the electorate, they certainly will NOT write in such items as Paul suggests.

We MUST make sure that individuals (such as Sistani in Iraq) are courted and supported so that the more moderate elements of Islam stand with the more secular portions of their societies and together create the kind of "Democracy" that we here envision.
