How many has Bin Laden killed? Not that I am nor need to be a mouthpiece for him. If you think he was behind 9/11 (which he firstly denies in an interview with a Pakistan newspaper and secondly there is no hard evidence against him to link him with 9/11..thats not my words, thats the words of a CIA agent who says they dont have enough evidence against him to charge him with 9/11, please see informationclearinghouse for more, and is also the reason Bin Laden is not linked explicity to 9/11 on his FBI Most Wanted page). But even if you take that into account, the number would be c. 3000. Add a few more thousands if you must.

Still this number pales in significance to the hundreds of thousands Bush and Co has killed in Iraq alone. If we were to include all of Americas actions, the number would easily go into the millions, easily. The whole west, and you'd lose count. 6 million Jews killed, a lot more russians killed at 25 million, total 60 million killed in WW2, wikpedia puts ww1 deaths at 9+ million, how about the crusades of course, or the genocide of the native Americans, Hiroshima, Vietnam, etc

As for those killed by Islamic conquest? There is no way you can compare the two numbers. The numbers that were killed were very low for such a conquest. Note that they didnt have such weapons of mass destruction, nor was the battlefield placed amungst civilian populations. If you cared to study the history you would find that there is no way on earth you could match numbers killed by Muslims to that killed by the West.

And the spreading of the sword is a misunderstood myth. Was the religion propagated by the sword, the convert or die nonsense? NO. There is no compulsion in Islam, which means even you did force someone to convert, it would be void and not count. As for the Islamic Empire which continued and really expanded after the death of Muhammad (pbuh), then yes of course it was spread by the sword. Name me an empire or even a war that has been fought without weapons!!! Nonsense! This involved fighting wars, capturing and conquering land and cities and expanding the empire. And when people saw the beauty of Islam, they converted to Islam, and more importantly, stuck to it ever since!

Though you people are hypocritical. You lambast Muslims and Islam for spreading itself by the sword, yet your bastion of the West, America, has forced its view of the best governance (democracy) by the use of the gun and bomb on Afghanistan and Iraq, regardless of whether the people of these countries wanted democracy or not. You just spread it by force because you wanted to spread YOUR OWN form of goverment throughout these countries. And we can see how you not only bombed these poor souls in the name of 'democracy' but you continue to murder, rape and torture these people if they resist this newly imposed democracy. Do not see the similarities and your hypocrisy?!
