Exploitation of slavery by Muslims

Daniel,
Given the very long history of Muslim involvement in the slave trade, up to the present, how do American blacks, who have converted to Islam, resolve this contradiction? Why isn't there more information, broadly available, to everyone about the exploitation of slavery by Muslims?
