Reader comment on item: [Beltway Snipers]: Converts to Violence?

Submitted by Fred (United States), Oct 27, 2002 at 17:33

With all the alarming evidence that points to Muslim intentions to kill Jews and take over our country (and eventually the world), why aren't we Americans up in arms and doing something about it? We're too damn complacent, that's why. Or we side with "them" because they use propaganda and lies to evoke our sympathy. We're too worried about trampling on some civil liberties, being politically incorrect, and offending certain ethnic groups. We let everyone into our country. The consequences of not taking action: the Muslim insurgencies in Chechnya and the Philippines, the takeover of Iran, the hostage crisis in Moscow, the Arab attacks on 9/11, the Munich massacres, the Achille Lauro, Yasser Arafat, etc.

The American flag has been burned in many countries. How many Palestinian flags. Saudi flags (oops, they're supposed to be our allies), Egyptian flags, Syrian flags, Iranian flags, and other Arab-nations' flags have you seen burned in the U.S? Try to burn one and you'll be arrested for causing a fire, or because you didn't get a permit first. ..
