Not Farrakhan

Reader comment on item: [Beltway Snipers]: Converts to Violence?

Submitted by FX (United States), Oct 25, 2002 at 12:28

Far be it for me to defend Minister Farrakhan; I stopped doing that years ago. However, I believe that Minister Louis Farrakhan would -- and will -- condemn this act of violence by the alleged perpetrator John Allen Muhammad. Over the past several years Farrakhan has been making a more moderate turn to a point where he is now extolling the virtues of patriotism for the U.S.A.. If you check out his most recent speeches, although they are still critical of America, he still reinforces a softer and more reconcilliatory tone towards the U.S., Caucasians and Jews.
