Play Wafa Sultan at the start!! Great idea???

Reader comment on item: My Disrupted Talk at the University of California-Irvine

Submitted by MelM (United States), Feb 3, 2007 at 00:56

Ok. we know this. The thugs are going to disrupt. How about playing the Wafa Sultan video from MEMRI right at the start of a lecture. If they won't sit through it, at least they're out early. However, they could, once they figure out what's being said, make enough noise to drown out the video. But, that would be grounds for asking them to leave. If they sit through the video, a few of them just might get a glimpse of reality, which is the real purpose of playing it. Worth a try?
