It is important to tolerate other peoples' point of views. As an intellectual, you should tolerate the ignorant ramblings of a non righteous, sinner, infidel such as me. As an educated and proud Muslim, you no doubt felt a personal insult by critical comments of Islam, yet your reaction was hostile and angry. This the symptom of "Sudden jihad syndrome" anger and violence as a response to a perceived therat or insult to an ideological construct. "Islam", the idealized vision, does not and will never exist, Because, like its offspring communism and nazism, Islamism, will destroy what exists in order to replace it with what does not, never has been, and, cannot exist except in the mInd.

As an American, I tolerate the Muslims, I do not need to tolerate "Islam" ism. Also the "..Ism" designates the ideology of Islam as a political construct. As a Ph.D, one would assume you know this, but since you are a pious Muslim, deception is a common tool.
