Dhimmi status..Reader comment on item: Muslims in the West: Can Conflict Be Averted? Submitted by donvan (United States), Jan 19, 2007 at 11:18 Thanks for your definition of "Dhimmi". Now living under the Muhammedians don't seem so bad. They gotta take care of us pathetic non Muhammedians. That's great news. All this time, I thought that the "Dhimmi" status was not a good thing. But, the thing is doc, I talked to this Pakistani guy, not a Muslim, and he said that in that 98% Muslim country, non Muslims are not treated like you said at all. In fact, Muslims can take the businesses and cause great anxiety by accusing the non Muslims of blasphemy laws, and that all Muslim countries have these laws and prosecute non Muslims all the time. Of course, not being a Muslim he was in all likelihood lying, you know how those kuffirs lie. Anyhow ,doc, your description of being in a minority status in a Muslim country is wrong. Muslims will kill non Muslims on a whim. Muhammed did and so do his brain dead surrogates in the pursuit of the moon god al lah. A muslim describing islam has no credibility. The sales pitch of "Buy or die" is a bit crass.... Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
