Reader comment on item: Muhammad Ali's "Beautiful Soul"
in response to reader comment: Cassius Marcelus Clay

Submitted by John (United States), Nov 30, 2006 at 15:13

It has been said that Cassius Clay (his christian name given by his mother) was the greatest boxer of all times. I can say the he was a good boxer but one of the dirtiest boxers of all times. In almost every bout he fought he pulled out his dirty bags of tricks, one for instance was pulling the other boxer head down and never listening to the referee. I guess he had them paid off so he would win the fight. I put him up there with Max Baer.

Thanks
