Reader comment on item: Muhammad Ali's "Beautiful Soul"

Publishing Mr. Pearl's letter and then dismissing it because Ali's handler's decide what he is doing ,while in the previous letter spending words and images to criticize Ali for making the "crazy" gesture" is contradictory....

There is consistency here. Just as Muhammad Ali cannot make his own decisions about making an appeal for Daniel Pearl's life, so he cannot behave himself properly with the president.
