French Moslem armyReader comment on item: The 751 No-Go Zones of France Submitted by Ianus (Poland), Nov 29, 2006 at 10:42 Dear studentpat, you wrote : "To control those riots in those instances, America sent in the National Guard and troops - they didn't run and hide." I read somewhere that up to 20% in the French army are nowadays Moslem. If you send such an army to combat an intifada like that of last November you run the risk that instead of combatting the Moslem youths , such an army will join forces with their brethren in faith. It would be quite a realistic scenario for an Islamic takeover in France to succeed , in my opinion. S ome minor incidents spark off a widespread wave of violence in the ZUS and outside , then some desperate minister sends in the troops that fraternise with the Moslem "protesters" and together they march to overthrow the ancien régime of secularism and Islamophobia and establish an Islamic Republic on French soil .
