Reader comment on item: The 751 No-Go Zones of France

I'm Canadian (ie not French). But I lived for one year litterally across the street from a ZUS (I just learned it by looking at the list). And its just a poor area, its not crime ridden. There are governement services ( a post office, an elementary school) and even private banks in the middle of that ZUS.

A ZUS just means a place that are priorities for public investments.
