Mr. Pipes:

Islam's agenda of waging war against Christianity, Judaism et al, is inherent in the Koran, and has been so from Day One. As for comparison with Germany's history, Hitler's 'Mein Kampf' which was ignored by most of the world, came true. As for your expression, 'fevered times', I doubt if there ever was a time in human history that was not considered 'fevered', by someone. For someone supposedly conversant with Islam, to quote one of the other writers "you are either ignorant of the facts or deliberately deluding yourself", and unfortunately many others as well.

If people as knowledgeable as you believe in 'moderate Muslims' (yes, there are some, but they would not be considered Muslims by their co-religionists) then I'm beginning to be scared!!!
