Concerns over additional overt scrutiny are simply a waste of time.
For now, our politically correct sense of “fairness” and our basic lack of resolve will prevent us from “discriminating” against any group – no matter how logical the argument to do so may be.
All of this may well change, in a far more dramatic way.
Consider this:
- For now, our citizens are irritated, and already fatigued by the conflict thus far.
- Since there's no end in sight, the “national mood” will only grow worse.
- The terrorists are relentless, and patient.
- Eventually, they will strike us again.
Now consider what life would be like for an Arab in this country, after the next successful attack.
If they manage to kill enough of us, at some point, the majority of our citizens will conclude that the ONLY definitive way to stop more terrorist attacks, is to remove ALL Arabs and Muslims from this country. With the raised passions as a result of more dead Americans, the logic of this position will be nearly impossible to argue against...
The pressure will be enormous, and ultimately the politicians will sell the idea to "relocate" the Arab community, on the grounds that it is for their own safety. And it may well be the truth.
If I were an Arab, I would give strong consideration to leaving this country soon, on my own terms, before my brethren create the circumstances that forces me into doing it under duress and chaos.
IT'S SIMPLY A MATTER OF TIME.
“The safety of the Arab community in America is inversely proportional to the success of their terrorists.”
