Realistically speaking, will such policies have an effect? Or is it just going to prolong the battle? Because the forces we are up against have made it very clear that they will play dirty and show complete disregard for law. Can we resists their onslaught by playing fair and sticking to what is, in your words, legal and moral? It also seems to me that many recruits into American Muslim ranks come from the prison systems, i.e. from people who habitually break the law. Perhaps, what is "legal" is no longer sufficient to uphold the law? Perhaps new legislation needs to be passed?
