Thank you FrancisReader comment on item: Is Allah God? Submitted by Abdul Rahman Reijerink (Australia), Jun 30, 2006 at 09:45 I know that this is the wrong thread totally but I can't remember where to reply. It is hard to confront the prejudices we have and I am very grateful for your admission about two weeks ago. I am sorry that I have been too wrapped up in my own life to respond in a more timely fashion. I too know how personal experience can taint views unfairly. On my mothers side, about six generations back, our family had to leave Ireland because of the so called "famine". A hatred of the British and general mistrust of English people has been passed down GENERATION AFTER GENERATION, only now in my mothers generation are we confronting the absurdity of this and breaking the cycle.
