In answer Allah / Jehovah are not the same God

Reader comment on item: Is Allah God?
in response to reader comment: Another name for Allah / Jehovah is God of War!

Submitted by rosemary (United Kingdom), Nov 25, 2009 at 16:25

The god of Islam is called Allah and has been attached to Abraham. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob made Himself known as YHWH; transliterated from Adonai, to Jehovah in the 13/14th century. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob declared himself Father of Yeshua/Jesus the Messiah/Christ. The deity of Islam, Allah is declared to have no progeny. They are not the same God.

Kind regards
