Misuse of freedomReader comment on item: Islamic Law at Belmont U Submitted by faisal (Lithuania), May 13, 2006 at 05:15 Freedom of Speech is good unless its not saying wrong about important figures of Religions , Why is that no Muslims say about Jesus , Mary , Moses , Abraham and like on . First of all in western countries only these types of things happened and in the name of Freedom of Speech ,sentiments are hurt. First time it was publised and there was an uproar which was small one then why to publish it again in other newspapers and add more fuel , is this the way of Civilised peoples from Cilivised world. Apology would calm down things but that time also no apology , Its really a misuse of Freedom of Speech. Think about it ? Was that not a direct attack on all muslims ? If you have any problems with Muslims and Islam then you should say this in debate with Muslims in a civilised manner coz freedom of speech should be like this. It might is normal in western press to express freedom of speech like this that they even not spare jesus and moses and mary , but things are different in east , peoples should think that all fingers are not equal and like taht only west and east are different even in freedom of speech ..
