Reader comment on item: Islamic Law at Belmont U

Submitted by Jaladhi (United States), Apr 25, 2006 at 13:51

The last I checked Belmont U was located in the good old US of A and not in Pakistan or Saudi Arabia. How gross, in the land of Wshington, Jefferson, Adams, Lincoln, Roosevelt, et al, the present day Americans have all forgotten about the ideals of our country.

The universities, PC mad crowd of politicians and the general media have caved in to the intimidation of Islam and have attained glorified dhimmi status of which only they can be proud. It is shameful when citizens of USA cannot excercise their freedom of expression without reprisals from their very own fellow citizens. On one hand we are fighting a war and sacrficing our young brave soldiers in Iraq to to establish democracy and freedom for their people and on the other we are losing war waged by Islamists and their dhimmis inside our own country. How ironic, when the Islamists and illegal aliens demand and get their rights(?) and the rights of majority of its own citizens are trampled upon without hesitation.
