re Nuray : Jesus, a sacrificial victim

Reader comment on item: Is Allah God?
in response to reader comment: ISLAM is the Egyptian mystery religion of Osiris

The sacrifice of Jesus is the ultimate symbol of God's love for fallen mankind. Mankind took the fall when he sinned in the garden of Eden. What do you mean by "I did not ask him to sacrifice himself" You or me don't even have the right to ask God anything. Salvation is mercy (unmeritted favour).

Abraham did not ask for a sacrificial goat when he was asked to sacrifice his only son Issac. But God provided for it. Jesus was the Messiah who was promised in the old testament and revealed by the prophet Isaiah. He was the king promised by God to David
from his desendants, a king who was to rule for ever.

Can you explain why a single illiterate camel driver selected to subdue one fifths of ther human race to islam and blind them by hate and voilence ? Islam is so filled with hate and voilence against non Muslims that it can hardly have anything divine in it. Allah cannot be the God that Jews and Christians worship. Dont try to mix your god with ours. When it comes to principles and teachings and the very nature of God islam is poles apart from Christianity or Judaism.
