Forgiveness to Meccans
What kind of forgiveness Mohammed gave to Meccans by anouncing 9.5 :
"But when the forbidden months are past , then fight and slay The Pagans wherever ye find them , and sieze them , beleaguer them , and lie in wait for them in every stratagem of war ; But if they repent , and establish regular prayers and practice regular charity"
Did they have any choice? They had to convert or die". If Americans say "Khan either convert to christianity within 4 months or we will kill you " will you consider it a fair deal ?
For your info, the forbidden months were the months the pre- islam arab had mutually agreed to avoid any violence to allow Haj and umra to Mecca as Mecca was a pilgrimage center for the whole middleeast pagans (hindus). You may not know but for subcontinent hindus similar Haj center was in Multan where indian pagans (hindus) performed Haj by wearing unstiched white clothes , shaving heads and going around the temple 7 times. Mohammed Bin Qasim destroyed it in 8th century.
Quran acknowledged prohibited months (as Mohammed adopted paganism, judaism and christianity customs to form islam)
Mohammed himself surprised his early Madina followers by violating this sacred prohibition of fighting and bloodshed and attacked and surprised an unaware Meccan caravan at Nakhla in Rajab ,a prohibited month. Muslims killed some and captured the remaining and brought the prisoners and booty to Madina.
When Madina people questioned the bloodshed of the innocents he committed in the prohibited month, he came up with a wahi from Allah.
2.217 : They ask thee concerning fighting in the Prohibited Month. Say: "Fighting there in is a grave (offence); but Tumult and oppression are worse than slaughter.
Treaty with Meccans
He only signed one 10 year non violence treaty with Meccans (Hudaibia), according to which one of the condition was that he had to return any one who came to Madina from Mecca. He violated this treaty later by not returning a Meccan woman, Quran cofirms it.
060.010 : O ye who believe! When there come to you believing women refugees, examine (and test) them: Allah knows best as to their Faith: if ye ascertain that they are Believers, then send them not back to the Unbelievers.
Later Mohammed broke all obligations by saying that Allah okayed it with a wahi.
009.003 I: And an announcement from Allah and His Messenger, to the people that Allah and His Messenger dissolve treaty obligations with the Pagans.
He did not forgive all Meccans. He anounced a list of 10 Meccans who had to be beheaded even if they took refuge behind curtains of Kaaba. They had insulted him in his Mecca days.
He Destroyed Jews for not converting to Islam
Mohammed kicked out two of the three jewish tribes (Qanuiqa and Nadir) from their ancestral home Madina by claiming that Allah ordered it and then attacked Quraiza with the same excuse.
Bukhari ,Volume 4, Book 52, Number 68:
When Allah's Apostle returned on the day (of the battle) of Al-Khandaq (i.e. Trench), he put down his arms and took a bath. Then Gabriel whose head was covered with dust, came to him saying, "You have put down your arms! By Allah, I have not put down my arms yet." Allah's Apostle said, "Where (to go now)?" Gabriel said, "This way," pointing towards the tribe of Bani Quraiza. So Allah's Apostle went out towards them .
Mohammed had all male adults (900) beheaded and took women and children captives:He took teenage beauty Rehana as his booty and slept with her the same night he had her husband beheaded.
Bukhari Volume 5, Book 59, Number 447:
Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri:
Sad said, "Kill their men and take their women and children as captives, "On that the Prophet said, "You have judged according to Allah's Judgment,"
Mr Khan dont get upset. Being a born muslim I also believed what you believe. . It took a while before the reality sank in and I came out of denial. Ali Sina's website (faithfreedom.com) helped. But I had to confirm all info by self study. Needless to say my imam kept misinforming me continuously by telling what you are writing here.
