The war should never have happened and was started under false pretences and downright lies. From the perspective of how the military operation was executed, Operation Iraqi Freedom was badly planned from the start. The coalition forces used a rolling thunder tactic of getting to Bagdad as quickly as possible whilst neglecting to secure the space left in their wake. There was no front line, it was constantly moving. They should have secured all borders first, then moved from town to town. As it was it was left unchecked, no wonder it's such a mess.
