Dr Pipes is correct

While I do not agree with all of Dr Pipes approach, he is on the money on this one.
The Iraqi people are free as of this date, and may chose the path they take.

As an American who has helped pay for that liberation, it is not open ended. We should secure the oil supplies from well to tanker, protect our troops, and tell the good Muslims of Iraq to protect themselves from those who want them to live under the Talibanisque rule. Those who follow the alleged prophet Mohammed must decide their own fate. If history is an indicator, they will "Submit" to those who seek to subjugate them.
