Read my comment again. I was describing the root cause of violence in islam. Not trying to establish direct co-relation between Mohammed and the current Iraq civil war.
Your comparison of Islamic civil wars with those of other peole is flawed. The American civil war was a war founded on national integrity and the issue of freedom, it was not choices deciding to live under a different sect of Mullahs. On the other hand Islamic civil wars have nothing to do freedom, it is always about intolerance.(not concidentally, their external wars as well)
Barbarism will always exist within humanity, and Mohammed was its greatest preacher. (equally comes from the Nazis and the Communists)
Here is another rhyme while we are at that :
