Being a muslim, a liberal one, ...We Arabs (muslims and christians) have the same customs concerning women as we have the same culture. The thing which amazed me was the writer's misconception of the marriage relationship in Islam we believe that women have rights so as men and they complete each other and help each other to form a strongly connected family. In Jordan we have a honor crimes that's true, but these crimes go back to our old customs but Islam forbids such crimes. the last thing i would like to mention is that Islam is the religion of equality between men and women ...
