male dominated polygamy is the cause of the riff between Judeo/Christian and Muslim

Reader comment on item: Female Desire and Islamic Trauma

If men are permitted by Islam via Mohammed's statement to the effect that its OK to have up to four wives and if all who can have four wives and given a survival to marriage of male to female of 1:1 which is close, then for 100 men and 100 women 25 men will have 4 wives (all the women) and 75 men will never have sex.

If all men who can only have 2 wives then 50 men will never have sex. If only half the married men have 2 wives and the others have one then 33 men will never have sex. If the ratio of number of wives varries then between 1 and 4 then a significant portion of the male population can only have sex with each other or must resort to rape.

Since both have a much higher probability of happening when there are no sexually available women (like prisons or Muslim countries) then social structure is modified to make such acts either acceptable as is the case of homosexualtiy among unmarried Muslims or blame is placed on the victim as is the case with rape in Muslim countries or groups of Muslims such as those in France. Women are "protected" from the sex starved male population resulting from polygamy. Why God choses men to be their prophet is no mystery - God and his rules are invented by those who are chosen - to dominate. Saying you are Gods chosen is racist or to call onself His prophet is presumptuous and serves a purpose - to dominate others.
